Have you outgrown your Shopify theme?

Once your store needs to do more than the theme and the apps allow, it takes development. We build custom features, integrations and business logic into your existing Shopify store.

Have you outgrown your Shopify theme?

Does this sound familiar?

If any of these are true for you, we can help.

There is no app in the store that does exactly what you need.

Five apps run side by side, slow the store down and cost you every month.

You move orders into invoicing or ERP by hand.

You sell complex or made-to-measure products that need a configurator.

Shipping costs cannot be expressed with the built-in rules.

The checkout flow does not match how you actually sell.

Stock is tracked in several systems and the numbers do not match.

You need B2B and B2C pricing inside the same store.

What we can take on

Concrete work we do in this area.

  • Custom Shopify feature development
  • Further development of an existing Shopify store
  • API integration with external systems
  • ERP, invoicing and inventory connections
  • Custom business logic and pricing
  • Product configurators for complex products
  • Custom shipping solutions and rate calculation
  • Checkout-related development
  • Order processing automation
  • Theme customisation and performance work
  • Replacing several apps with one custom solution
  • Data migration to Shopify from another platform

When NOT to call us

It is faster for both of us if this comes out here.

  • If you need to launch quickly with a few products: a theme and a couple of apps cost less than a developer.
  • If only the logo and the colours need changing in the theme.
  • If you are looking for someone purely to upload products or handle admin.
  • If the question is only which subscription plan to pick.

We are worth our price where you have hit the limits of themes and apps, and development is the way past them.

How do we work?

Four steps from the first conversation to going live.

1

We look at the store

We walk through your current store, the apps running on it and the point where the business process breaks down.

2

We decide on the route

Sometimes an app is the answer, sometimes custom development, sometimes replacing an app you already pay for. We tell you which and why.

3

Development in a dev store

The work happens in a duplicated or development environment, so your live store keeps running undisturbed.

4

Go-live and handover

After going live you get documentation and training, so your own team can operate it.

Frequently asked questions

What most people ask before we start.

Often it is, and then that is what we recommend: it costs less than development. Development becomes the answer when no app fits exactly, when five apps would have to be coordinated, or when the monthly app fees already exceed the price of building it once.
Development happens in a duplicated or development store, and only the finished, tested version goes live. Your live store keeps running throughout.
That is one reason we avoid wiring custom logic into the theme, putting it into a separate app or service instead. That way a theme change does not take the development with it.
Yes. We have built integrations with invoicing, stock, ERP and logistics systems. If there is an API or an export option, we can automate the data flow.
Partly. Shopify deliberately keeps the checkout closed, but a lot is possible through the official extension points: custom fields, shipping and payment logic, and work around the cart and thank-you page. In the first conversation we tell you whether your case fits.
Yes, and the other way round. But we always check first whether a platform change is really needed: it is often cheaper to develop the existing store than to rebuild everything.
A smaller custom feature takes a few days; a configurator or a deeper ERP integration takes several weeks. After the first conversation we give an itemised estimate rather than a number pulled out of thin air.

Tell us where the store got stuck

Describe in a few sentences what you want that Shopify cannot do today. One call is usually enough to see whether it needs development or there is a simpler route.
